Have you tried it yet? Any footage? Any issues with keeping the camera in the upright position? Perhaps a float on the top side (inside the housing) and a weight on the bottom? Great idea for the camera. Thinking I may also want to try it. Thanks for sharing!

How far off the ball was the flasher/fly? Just curious whether you had to zoom or not. I'm looking at buying a couple GoPro's and I'm totally interested.

If you're willing to share how you built the housing, that would be great, too!!

Medic,

After looking into delrin (probably around $80-$100to for a 4" piece) and trying to figure out how to machine it with a lathe I don't have I've decided to try to make something similar in shape using various pieces of pvc tubing. Just an idea to ponder.

This is very interesting. Has anyone tried a housing using their self provided sticky pad and the bag of goodies jointed together? I lost a hero 2 off the side of a boat last year due to the suction cup losing it. I'm a little extra protective now.
