Coffee w/ cream water with less than a foot visibility changed the shallow water starting plan. Ran out to look for clean water and found it at 130. Worked out to 180 without any action on graph or rigs ( Downriggers, half core, dipsey, 2 and 3 color). Fished back and picked up laker on half core/DOC in 120. Picked up rods, and ran in and started trolling 30 to 12 FOW. Picked up 2 steelhead, 1 throwback on orange J-11 flatlined 200' back, and had another screamer come unbuttoned before we could get rod. Far Beyond Driven Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 You're killing me - I pulled the big boat last week and it's been too heavy for the 14' every time I have a chance. Fished the pier in Holland last night for two hours and caught a trophy Zebra mussel.Last time we were in tight and the water was stained, it seemed they wanted thin fish more than rapalas and spoons.
