mriversinco Posted May 19, 2011 Share Posted May 19, 2011 Finally got out again Wednesday to see what we could do.Ended up boating 3 fish and lost probably 6-8 others. Had at least 3 a ways in when they came unbuttoned. Seemed the fish were swatting at the spoon instead of biting it. 2 of the 3 fish we landed were barely hooked in the corner of the mouth and the rest of the treble was in the side of the face.50-60 foot of water was the best, and we had pretty much everything go for us since someone (duh) forgot the electric hookups for the downriggers. Anything from a 3 color to full core worked as well as one on a dipsy at 1 and 100' out. The full core was the hottest. Combo's of orange and green and well as green and blue dolphins.
