fishsniffer Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 i bought a bulk spool of the pink ande 20lb last year..i was concerned about the pink rather than the clear but had a great deal and was reassured it would be good..after a full year on it i would buy it again..tested a piece that was on my rigger for a year and it broke at almost 23lbs..couldnt be happier.. ANDES Slate Blue Backcountry Mono. The best mono I have ever laid my hands on! I would like to see someone try to stop a mature king in a harbor where you can spit in the boat next to you on 12#.It's not that I don't baby fish, I run 8# leaders for browns and steelies in the rivers.
