Skunked!!!!!

Fished holland this morning got skunked :eek:for the first time in 2 years never even had a bump! we went out to 98 fow but it was to ruff,so came back to the pier heads, wild at heart had 3 kings he caught just inside the channel and around the pier heads and we saw a few caught off the pier .The water is still very warm 66 deg but there is a few fish there. hopefully the lake sets up this week and we get calmer weather so i can get out to that 250 fow .:thumb:I have to get a new skunkless streak going! jimbobber

You aint kiddin it was a tough year. I fish with 40 year vet of the sport and we got skunked twice this year this was the first time in 8 years that it has happened. I was a little upset, jeesh i thought i was gonna have to take up something else.

Its just fun trying to keep the streak goin but all good things come to an end,I have been close a couple of other times with last minute fish as we were pulling lines,I don't smack em every time out otherwise it would be called catching not fishing LOL! I have heard form a couple of other guys now that have run off shore that there are fish out there and they have been getting em 240 plus fow.

I feel your pain got my first ever on the MC2 Sunday. The good thing is its gonna get better as the month of September goes on. Deer huntin starts Thursday the guy that owns the property I hunt says kill some does.
