  1. My son mates, so is required to test. There are independent labs that do the testing. He is on a lottery system, and in the 4 years he has mated, got the call one time to test.
  2. That should do a great job lighting up the back.
  3. Not a bad idea, especially if where having a shot gun start from the pier head. Leave the pier head at 5:30 would allow us to have the spread out buy 6 am.
  4. Has a captain ever fished the event in past to begin with?
  5. Im not a fan of Lakers being the same points, simply because I'm not a fan of Lakers. What ever is decided is cool with me though. South Haven is a fun port with a big launch. It would make a great port. I do like the shotgun start. When I ran the league guys where leaving the dock at 4:30 for a 6:00 am start?
  6. Less out of town work this summer should make it a lot easier for me to attend again this season. I think when caz did it he had the first 3 out of port sheldon, and the last 2 out of Muskegon. I'm open to the multi port thing again.
  7. Iv'e been working down in South Haven for the last few weeks and had the opportunity to sneek out on the pier and get a few shots after dark. Lake M looks a lot more unfriendly in the winter. This one is from the yard of the house i'm working at.
  8. Cool! Are all 6 of the poles at the stern of the boat hooked to those 2 down riggers?
  9. Sweet. I look forward to seeing the new ride.
  10. I think the Video is Sweet!!
  11. I used to have a Power drive 65#ap, but now the Terrova 80# Ipilot. Both will do what you want, but the Terrova is a better motor. I use 2 of the Everstart batteries from Wallmart, and they have served me well. I use the biggest ones they have. Get yourself an onboard charger for them. My onboard dose all 3 batteries at once, and I love it.
  12. Always a good idea to back the drags off for winter storage.
  13. Thanks for the update Jason. Sounds like a tough bite.
  14. Love those Sportcrafts.
  15. I have 600's Tekotas on the 8' rods, and 700's on the high divers. The 700's are a way better reel for wire divers.
  16. I use 8's on the inside/lows, and 10's on the out/high. I like mag rings on both divers, with big weights on the lows, and smaller weights on the highs.
  17. Very nice. Where where you out of there?
  18. Nice looking rig there Richard. Welcome aboard.
