  1. Glad to see some folks got out today. The gale force warning kept me home. Nice catch Mike.
  2. Was a beautiful day in St Joe for the Blossomtime festival. We headed home about sunset, it was a pretty one.
  3. Nice job Mike, good to see some folks got out, was storming here this am.
  4. My crew is my kids, and they are great with helping to set lines, steer and clean the boat up at home. Now if they would just get a job and help pay for gas. lol

  6. I might be trying South Haven this weekend, sounds like the fish can be found there.
  7. Water temps near St Joe Saturday were 48-52. Fish are now moving in deeper water, not much caught right near shore.
  8. Great job Mike, you made a good choice in going to SH. St Joe was zoo on both Friday and Saturday with fishing being spotty. Some guys did well and found fish, but most didn't. By the way, your brother has a nice tan. lol
  9. Nice job, I like that board you have to hang your fish for photos.
  10. I plan to be out on Friday am and Saturday am. Weather sounds good for both days. The coho bite is on.
  11. Great job, you did as well as the guys out on boats. Nice catch.
  12. I have found good prices on Okuma here: http://www.fishdogcompany.com/servlet/StoreFront
  13. There will be quite a few boats out of St Joe Saturday, the Brown Blast tournament is being held. Lots of boats were out today, I was one of them. Fishing was slow, most boats only had 1 or 2 fish. Did hear of one boat getting a 3 man limit.
  14. Mike, those work great. I was told to remove the front hook on them to get better lure action. I tried it on one and it outfished others with the hook left on in front.
  15. Nice, see ya at the Brown Blast.
  16. We grow a big garden each year. I till with a 4' pto tiller on a Kubota L2900. We grow about everything from Tomatoes, peppers, corn, lettuce, potatoes, squash, watermelon, pumkins, etc.. We are expanding the garden a little this year, and will be canning/freezing more than years past. I also plant 2 acres of food plots for deer. I do all the tilling, planting and weeding. My wife does the harvesting. My wife and power equipment do not mix, she does no mowing. You got a rare one if she has her own tractor and uses it.
  17. I hear ya, the wind kept me off the lake today. Hope it settles down for tomorrow, Saturday.
  18. Fri 4/3 Heavy rain overnight, now really windy. Small craft advisory in effect. I hope it settles down for tomorrow, Saturday.
  19. I plan to be out Friday afternoon and Sat morning. Call me on the radio if anyone wants to check in.
  20. At lunch today I ran by Tackle Haven and saw the DNR finishing up putting the docks in at the Benton Harbor DNR launch.
  21. You are very lucky you had arrived at home when this happened.
  22. I saw that on the news, what an idiot. The fire department really tore up his fender to get to the gas fill tube to cut him loose.
  23. I found that Fishdog will put together about whatever you want at a good price. Just ask.
