  1. How big are you looking for? I bought some clear vinyl cling, that is 8 1/2 x 11 and you can print on it from a color inkjet printer. I found it on ebay, one sheet was about $3.50. Since it is vinyl cling, it can be removed and reused. You could then print your own sign.
  2. That is a bunch of walleye, did you use an electric knife?
  3. Bad Booze Rots Our Young Guts But Vodka Goes Well No, I am not a gEEk. lol
  4. I am going out of St Joe on Sat, and plan to head further north to fish out of Ludington Sunday and Monday.
  5. I think it might be more of a difference in your boat. I was on a friends boat this past weekend with a X-111 and we had good readings even at 30+ mph. Probably turbulence from your hull.
  6. That sounds very similar to what we are seeing out of St. Joe too. Thanks for the report.
  7. Fished the Okuma Summer Challenge out of St. Joe the past two days. Most boats had their limits on Friday, and their 3 trout for bonus points. Lake was glass smooth at the start on Friday, got a little choppy by 1:00 but not bad. Fish are in deeper water, was hearing mostly 80-120 foot of water, a few guys out deeper at 170-220. Saturday was a whole different story, the wind picked up and waves were rolling at 3-5', made it tough for the smaller boats. The fishing was a lot tougher too, not as many full boxes. Fish seemed to still be in the same areas, just scattered more. The SW Mich Steelheaders did a nice job on running the tourny, 99 entrants between pro and am. On Friday we had 9 coho, 3 steelhead a laker and a king. of the 12 we weighed we had 44#'s. Saturday only caught 7 fish, 4 coho and 3 steelhead, all small for 18#, we finished in the middle of the pack.
  8. I just printed off this post and plan to try and make some these flies, thanks for the post.
  9. Thanks for the report, I hope to get on Tuesday in St Joe.
  10. Good luck with getting your starter repaired. I went out Sunday and it was not too busy at the launch, word got out that the coho turned off.
  11. Thanks for the welcome. I got the new boat out this afternoon (Sunday), just for a crew in the St. Joe river, went fine except for a the low water, pushed up some mud in a couple of area. Should have the boat all rigged up for next weekend, now if only the Coho would come back. They seem to have disappeared around St Joe.
  12. Well, after a 16 year hiatus, I am getting back into big lake fishing. My work took me overseas back in 1991, so I sold my boat. When I returned we started having kids so priorities shifted. My oldest kids are now 13 (twins) and things are settled enough for me to buy a new boat. I am looking forward to getting back out and learning new tricks. I met a couple of members here last weekend at the Brown Blast, I fished with Steve Arend from the St Joe league. That is how I found out about this site, from a West Michigan League member. I will be primarily fishing out of St Joe, but my new boat is 19 1/2 foot so I plan to trailer it and try new ports. I still don't have the boat all rigged up, but I hope to have it ready in another week. Glynn
