Good job on the night bite guys. Thanks for the play by play FBD. I'll have to try that some time. Mooching is like jigging right? I think my dipsey rods are Okuma mooching rods. I wouldn't want to jig with those. That would wear you out. Nice job with the church crew 2MD. Pug must have been worn out after the morning run. Do you ever sleep Ryan? You posted 6 hours ago and again 2 hours ago. I've had two naps today after fishing this morning. Just after the last full moon we were launching at Port Sheldon and a boat was just pulling out at 5:30 am. I asked if he had boat trouble and he said he was just finishing fishing. They started trolling at 10pm and trolled until 5am. I've always heard the fish bite all night during the full moon. It's coming up on the 9th. I'm not gonna try it. I might get out earlier in the morning though.

One of these days I'm going to launch in Holland and run south like you do. I'll be off for a week or so now since my brother will be gone. I'd say you made the right call this morning.

Tried in close where we found fish Monday but the water warmed up. So we trolled west and picked up our first fish in 95' on a 5 color with a blue spatterback plug. Had a few drive bys and decided to pull lines at 10. Just started and the rigger went with a coyote spoon on a free slider with the rigger down 65. 75' of water. That was it. Nice morning on the water.

I run them all. Silver Horde 5's and 4's and Tomic #4 I think. A little bit smaller diameter, but good length.

2MD, you catch as many salmon as I catch bluegills through the ice! Great catch! We love that green ladderback glow plug too. 3 of our 4 fish came on green plugs yesterday.

Huh, tried to like this post but I cannot add anymore reactions today. First time for that. Good job 2MD. Rough seas for sure. Sounds like today is the day to retie lines. Sorry about that, but I'll be doing some of that myself.

Might as well harvest some kings then! Pug for the win!

I have a Lund 1700 fisherman. Plenty wide but it's just not fun in rough water. We used to do it all the time 30 years ago, but I pick my days more carefully now.

Hope it's not as windy tonight. Although, the Parker and pug will figure it out.

5 for 6 this morning. 4 kings and a lake trout. Lake trout went back. Two fish on a rigger 49' down on the mag flounder pounder. One fish on the other rigger with a green glow ladder back plug. One fish on the ten color leadcore with a mag green jeans and the laker on the spin dr with hypnotist fly. Caught fish at 90, 107, 113, 123 and 124' of water. Pretty bumpy outside of 100'. Probably 2-3 footers. Too bumpy for me. Called it quits at 10. Nothing huge. Probably 15# was the biggest.

My wife picked up that old ironing board at a garage sale years ago. Stows away nicely in the garage and is adjustable in case my wife wants to help clean fish. Just kidding, she's never cleaned a fish in her life. LOL My brother and I can both clean at the same time. One on each side.

You run a lot of meat 2MD. I have a couple of meat rigs and rarely run them because I can't seem to catch fish on them. I guess I just don't have any confidence in them. Pug can't stay home!!

Evenings have been good for ya 2MD. We used to fish evenings years ago, but it gets too late for me anymore. You were cleaning fish at midnight there last week. I'd be losing fingers!! Have a great night out there.

5 for 10 this morning with 4 kings and a steelhead. 4 bites on a rigger down 60' with 4" glow green ladder back plug and landed 3. 4 bites on the other rigger with a mag flounder pounder and didn't land any. One fish on a dipsey fly 150 back. One fish on the 300 copper on a mag double trouble spoon. Good box of fish. Fished mainly 100 to 130 fow.

Good job with the Parker 2.0. I was wondering when we'd see a report. Sounds like it'll work just fine.
