  1. Ken is write on the money, all of my copper is 32lb blood run and it is as easy to use a s lead, infact you can nearly free spool it on the way out with out a clicker.
  2. Welcome Adam, if you need anything just ask.
  3. Great job Scott, I WANTED TO GO SO BAD IT WAS KILLING ME , but just could not get a crew and then it got to late and the wind started to blow.
  4. R.I.P tom, im sure you will be missed.
  5. I agree with Ken 100% ,wire divers are great and a blast to catch fish on. Just remember to get a good quality rod. And as far as copper he is correct , the 32 lb SUPPER COPPER will run very close to that of 45 lb and is much easyer to yous. Im in the process of switching over .
  6. I would highly recommend capt. Don of Tangled Mess Charters, he is out of Holland and is the steelhead master in this area. And also a member of this site.
  7. Nice JOB Eric, sorry but I was not on the lake yesterday.
  8. No this is not to fast for divers ,Don runs mono divers on 3 with no rings. Not sure what the temp or speed at the ball was , all the times that ive fished with him over the last few years ive never seen a probe in the water one time. Mainly becouse its all about running the write speed on top , the baits are only running about 40 down at best.
  9. Great job Tim, and your write on with the copper backed minis , there SMOKEIN HOT!
  10. Its very possable , but only on sunday this week. The wife is throughing a party on saterday evening.
  11. WOW ,a entire weekend of great weather and great fishing. Today I had the privalage of fishing aboard the Tangled Mess , It was sponser day, we had Tony from Eyefull custom rods and CJ from the Silver Streak com. Capt. Don left the dock around 8:30 and was back in at around 1 with a nice 3 man limet of steelhead. We ended the morning going 9 for 19, all very acrobatic steelie. the best water today was a little differant from yesterday , it was 100 to 150 with the surface temp comeing up to 62 degrees and no break as far as 190. And for the neat part was the speed this morning was from 4 to 4.8 on the gps, anything slower and they just did not want to bite. Anywho here is the pic of what worked and were and one of the catch Well with that said if you ever get a chance to run the rods from Eyefull costums they seem to be very nice and great quality and if any one is looking to learn a from the master of speed trolling get ahold of Capt Don.He said he has a lot of slot open through oct.
  12. Great job guys, and keep the drags loose until they are completely worn out then get them to the boat.
  13. Great job Dean , keep at them.
  14. Great job James, and Phil is write ,I dont own a prob , my numbers are gps and suface temp.
  15. You are truely the Photo master Ken, and your write theres, nothing like a week of relaxing with family and freinds in paridise.

  17. What a AWSOME day on the lake, and the fishing was as good as it gets to boot. Well heres the report , I left the ramp at a little after 8 this morning with Plumkrazy and Adam, aka "BIG FISH KILLER". We where loaded for steelhead and heading to the area that I left off at on wendsay in the 140 to 160 range a little north of the harbor,.and fished from there to the north and ending the day going 15 for 22 or 23, with 9 steelhead ,4 kings and 2 lakers that where released for next year. The best depth was 180 to 210 with a north west or west troll being the best with a gps speed rangeing from 3.5 to 4.2 mph. Well heres a few pics of what worked and the catch. All I can say is it dont get any better than that , not on the DOG anyhow. And thank Phil and Adam for comeing along it was a GREAT TIME AS NORMAL.
  18. Nice job Jeff ,and im glad I could help.
