I went out in SH sat morn fished from 70 to 90 and never got a hit, ran pretty much same as i did frid morn but i got skunked:confused: i went out sat night went a lil deeper and switched my troll, i was trolling sw/ne from 100 to 130 fow and went 1 for 4 got about a 8 lb laker on 300 copper and it took another hit, had two rips on dipsy set on 90 but both came off
  2. i fished sat morn in SH and never got a hit.. Yup i got skunked i got a few buds that charter and they only went 1 for 2 day before he went "11 for 20" fish were just tough here sat morn

Well guys i ran the swr for the first time this am i went 3 for 4 with two of the fish caught on the swr and the missed hit was swr so two for 3 on that rod:thumb: usually get most my action on dipsys but they were dead today, Big thanks for all your help on the SWR goin back out tonight to try it again
  6. went out in sh this am went 3 for 4 in 85 fow one on a 5 color and the other two were lakers down 70ft on rigger, i will be back out tonight channel 10

Take won of your downrigger rods and add two colors of lead to it, when you send it out dont attach release to lead put all the lead out and attach it to the backer, i have never used one im still learning about it, i have a Thread on here SWR check it out ive just been hearing alot of people killin fish on them so i had to make me up a cpl, i will have one washing a bait this week though and cant wait:thumb:

I,ve been seein alot of people talk about the SWR personally i,ve never heard of one untill i joined GLF "By the way i LOVE this place:thumb:" anyway i put two of them together just now with two colors on each i was just wondering if there was any thing i need to know about these before putting them down i know i attach the release to the backer, so do i just run these as i would a regular dr rod other than that?
  11. I just picked up two Okuma Gl452 combos pre spooled with backer, full core and 75' leader at tackle haven in St Joe for $150 prob not the best but they get the job done being on a tight budget as i am

  14. Went out in South Haven this morning went 1 for 3 around 95 fow all hits came on blue/crush- blue bubble one we boxed was a 17lb king kids had a great time
