Felt more like duck hunting weather then fishing weather, but got the shakedown cruise in. Fished from about 7 till 1 going 2-4 with the 2 lakers. Worked from 40-80 with the action being in 40-50 fow. 8 color with a silver streak kato 1-2 5 color with a silver streak lemon berry 0-1 150 copper with a stinger mixed veggie 1-1 would have liked to bump into a king or 2 but boat ran well with only a few minor issues so I'm very pleased.

Being a weekend warrior I really appreciate and utilize any info I get off the reports. Just having a depth to start at in my opinion is huge. I think there is just a small group of people that unfortunately "lurk" for info but are not willing to share, which is disappointing. I've been lucky enough to have a few people catch there 1st big lake salmon on my boat and the pure joy on there face is priceless. It's a shame some sportsman feel the resource is there own.

I run 6-8 foot leads to the flasher/spinnie. I did set up a braid slide diver this spring but honestly haven't given it much time in the water. My divers in the past years have been the best rods on the boat with the 6-8ft leads.

Fished from 6:30 till 1:00 going 5-9 with 3 kings and 2 steelhead. Started in 80fow and ended up in 220. Kings came in 90-110 steelhead were 190-210. RV mag flounder pounder on a 225 cu 11lb king Silver streak rainbow alewive 45dn on a rigger 8lb king Silver streak mag blue line on a 8 color 14lb king DW SS double orange crush on a 5 color 2 4lb steelhead lost a nice steelie on a 75cu with a DW SS jawbreaker, and had swings and misses on the 8 color blueline, rigger at 50 with a mag kato, and a blue and chrome SD with a BW special Ops fly 110 back on a low braid diver. Nothing on meat or plugs. Found a small scumline in 200-220. Can't seem to get my divers going anybody else having this problem??

We didn't get on the water till 11 am. Fished till 3 pm without taking a bump. Fished the 24-28 fow by the nets. Found 67 degree water but no luck. Try again tomorrow.

P1. Up in Au gres for the week. Headed out yesterday and went 0-0 water temps were in the low 60s? A guy from the Dnr was doing catch surveys at the launch and had 1 fish caught out of 10 boats! Think the fish headed to warmer water on the inner bay? We fished 4 miles southeast of the pt. I've never seen water this cold in July.

Fished from 6 till 1:30 going 6-8 with 5 kings and a laker. Started straight out in 80 fow and ended up south by the nets in 90-110 fow. Fish were very scattered. 300 copper with a mag SS Kato 3 kings 225 copper RV bloody nose 1 king rigger down 45 stinger UV carmel dolphin laker JK silver bullet meat rig back 180 on a low wire diver 1 king lost fish were on a rigger at 47 with a pink panties and a rigger at 56 with a uv blue dolphin. Three of the kings were 5-6 lbs 1 at 13 1/2 and 1 at 15.1/2. 2.5-2.7 at the ball with 44 degree water 60 down.

Very good fishing on the bay right now. Fished from 10am till 4 pm Friday out by the spark plug, landed 20+ with 8 keepers. Saturday fished same area and again landed 20+ with a 2 man limit in 4 hours. 18-21 fow all spoons pinks, purples, and antifreeze 2-3 color leadcore and walker mini disks 35-45 back. sog was 2.9-3.1...best part not a single catfish or sheepshead.

Fished from 7am to 1:30 pm with Doug (Floating Holiday) going 10-20ish Headed out to 160 to start the morning and found very cold water. Trolled back east till we hit a fish in 115 and ended up working the 100 to 115 fow till we quit. 8 kings with 3 throwbacks and 2 steelhead and way to many that came unbuttoned after a quick run?? Speed at the ball was 2.7-2.9 with 43 degree water 35 down. What worked. Stinger uv blue dolphin down 35 on a rigger HOT 4 color with a UV stinger blue dolphin HOT 8 color with a SS Kato 5 color with a SS blue line Stinger Carmel Dolphin on slider 7ft above the main line at 35 Slide diver back 80 with a SS Kato Fog was the worst I've ever seen, saw a lot of debris in the water so be on the lookout if your out there.

Finally got the shakedown cruise out of the way. Fished from 8:30-12:30 going 4-7 all kings in 40-55fow. All hits came either in or on the edge of the mud. Fish ranged from 5-17lbs. 5 color with a standard panty ho 1-3 Rigger down 25 with a mag pink panties 2-2 2 color with a orange and gold bomber 1-1 slide diver back 65 with a mixed veggie 0-1 17.35 on my digital scale
