  1. Welcome aboard Jim! I too have a boat in Au Gres, I love it up there. This is a great site.
  2. Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!! That by far is the best fishing I've heard of this year!!!! Nice job, nice fish...
  3. Nice looking rig for 79! Looks like she's laid out real well too!!!! Bet she fishes like a dream
  4. Reel nice videos Mike. Got some footage this weekend out of Whitehall, 1st fish for the young lady, 16# king. Hopefully it will get forwarded to me and I can upload it. Once it was in the boat her reaction was awesome. Thanks for the videos....
  5. Well this is a slippery slope. I'm sure in somewhere there is mention of price and how long you will be out on the water. 5 hours, or limit of fish. Seems pretty cut and dry. I like your view on not catching and releasing, good conservation. Here's a thought, if people feel as though they are getting the short end of the stick you could cruise around for a while, anchor and go look for perch. Or worse case change your policies to say LIMIT OF FISH with no mention of time. Nice work out there....
  6. Fished Whitehall on Friday night for the 1st time ever. It was tough fishing but we had a great time. 2/4 both kings, one 15# and one 16# very nice looking kings. One rip on a dispy w/meat rig #3 set back 220, missed that one. Double header on leadcore, 7&10 color side by side, landed one lost one, purple spoon. Last rip on a DR 36 down with a canadian plug, yellow back, purple with poka dots. We were all the way out to 250 but less then 100 seemed better, apparently the lake has rolled over, surface temp in 100 was 54*. Good Luck, I would be the fishing will only get better...
  7. Frank, How are we doing

  8. Ok then, I will talk with my buddy and make sure it's cool. Then I'll pm you his info.
  9. How far is martin from Kalamazoo? I have a painter buddy over there who would treat you right.... Let me know
  10. He told me he filed a complaint, the police directed him to the department of agriculture. Told him to keep me posted as I am very interested in the outcome of this
  11. Sounds like a good time. Real nice mess of fish there too....Good luck at the next tourny...
  12. I was just conversing with my neighbor. He was telling me he bought some gas up the road at a Sunoco station and paid for 5.2 gallons of gas and only pumped about 4 and some change into his 5 gallon gas can. There is a mark on the tank where 5 gallons is and it was nearly 2" below the mark. Some people. Times are tough enough, now what, you have to 2nd guess everything.

  16. Thanks for the great day. Good thinking on going to a different tactic, who would'a thunk it??? Not me, but it sure did work. Nice to be on a boat with three others that can work a boat. Great day, thanks so much. Can't wait to get back up and do it again.....
  17. Yup, good job Frank. We didn't set anything on fire this weekend. Somewhat of a late start on Saturday, the 2 of us only landed six, and lost a pig about 40 feet from the boat. Maybe a while before I'm able to get back out, but I may ring you on the telephone and hook up with you here soon. Nice Job....
  18. Nice work on the fish. You are a good man......
