  2. Nice job Mark - Glad you were able to get a crew together.
  3. We fished the Muskegon event Sunday with Aaron (Line Dancin) & Dave (Hell_Hound). 1st time this year I made the Pier head at start time. started in 25 FOW just outside of the pier head going north. picked up a couple fish in shallow then started moving NW all the way out to 160. 100 to 130 was the best depth. 150 copper and 5 color did the most damage with plugs, Ace High wonder bread glow worked best for us. 3 color with an orange chilly willy grabbed a small coho out in 160 so that was our sign to turn around. Dipsy's pick off a few fish. ended the with 13 fish 1-coho 2-lakers 3-steel rest all kings - big fish was just shy of 16#'s. I think we only farmed 4 or 5 today. one right at the swim platform for hasp failure - bent it right open during the final lift to the net. good day to be out - we seen alot of fish feeding up on the surface. and the fish were loaded with little 1" bait. water was cold 45degs in close 160 foot it was up to 58deg's. ended up 4th - with many great boxes of fish today. thanks to Sniffer, Patty, & 1Manic for holding a great event. and a big thanks to Big Weenie for sponsoring this event.
  4. Thanks Big Weenie for your support

  11. Friday am had Bob (Cora Lee) and Ryan out Went 6-6 giving back a little fella for another day. We fished 7am to 1pm started 80 fow just north of pier head moving NW. did a couple loops out to 150 fow what worked Moonshine Green Jeans was hot. 60 to 80 down on rigger taking 3 fish the dink came in on the big white paddle all fish kept were 12-15#'s PM trip with Ken (Nailer) and his buddy Steve same program only started a little deeper slow at first but then 5 fish right during sizzle time. stayed out 1.5 hours past sunset picking up a couple more. Green Jeans was still hot for this trip. Sat. am Had Rob and Alex aboard. left the dock a little after 6- did clear the pier head before the BRC group. was a blast to be about a 1/2 mile ahead of the group before they started. ran same program again - Green jeans not working, but 8" SD white with green fly took two fish early on high diver during prime time, then 11" white paddle took two more around 9am. then it was a boat ride, changed up the riggers put down UV spoons on the bottom, was just ready to pull them when a rigger fired. it was a nice 16# king that went around the divers twice. great weekend to be out at the marina hangin with friends and getting a few fish. congrats to Dirty-Fish-Nailer on the 5th place in am BRC. ran the same program

  15. Had a great day on the water with my wife Angie. she has not been out on the boat in over 3 years but I was finially able to get her to come out. but on her terms. we didn't leave the house until 8:30, had to stop get gas and snacks. about a mile from the ramp the truck just starts shaking - I'm thinking u-joints at this point. nope - as we slowed down to turn into the ramp we hear a tire on the trailer going down fast. we launch the boat and dealt with that after the boat ride. setup in 80 fow heading north at about 10 am, what a great day to be out - flat setup our 6 rod spread - 2 riggers - 2 wire divers 2 300' coppers did switch out 300' for 200' after marking fish up higher. what worked as we went 2 for 4 rigger with SS blue berry muffin went twice lost one about 10 feet back from the boat. tin can with green spin & Glow on the wire diver pulled a real nice king up to the swim platform then broke off right at the hook as the fish took a turn into the rigger wire. 200 copper with green spatter back ace high plug took a nice king:) was a great trip as Angie was able to bring in her first King. I'm glad she came out it was good for her and I think she enjoyed it.
