  1. Don't know how Hunter got the idea to keep the money. hehe. Great fishing with you as always Mike. What a weekend. Darn 114 fish (I'm at 110). GRRRRRR.
  2. Thanks for the report Gun. Great to get back on the fish. Do you think they are running early?
  3. Great work Jim. I've fished a few of the PS events with my father and it has been awesome spending that time with him.
  4. Nice rig nick. I see your relation even has to beg for a trip. HA. I also see you have joined the bayliner group. We take a lot of crap from the sea ray guys, but they fish just fine. I like the hard top. Perhaps you can play off that concept with the name. Something like "Hard Headed".
  5. Good luck getting that guy to quit fishing big water now. HAHA. We've got another one.
  6. Nice work. All in all a great weekend on the water. Sweeeeet weather we are having. Can you imagine if it was really July temps (in the 90s). no thanks. I'll take this mid 70s and low 80s all summer.
  7. I'm with Fishsniffer2. 7 for 9 is a pretty good day. Nice Job Terry. How many takers on the 11" white echip? That was hot for us all weekend last week.
  8. Fishsniffer still pissed I can see. Nice job avoiding the skunk Jose.
  9. Way to go Jim. Priority One just gave me an idea. Anyone ever try to mount a lazy boy on the dance floor?
  10. Thanks everyone. It was a pretty fun weekend now that SOME fish are back. Can't wait for it to get better. FYI, the eggs in the females are getting pretty big. Might be a early run.
  11. SAWEEET. 4 for 7 is a good day in these conditions (weather and fish).
  12. SWEEEEEET. 16 was my lucky soccer number through high school and college. You are in trouble now.
  13. HAHA Limo. I plan on getting there somehow. I think we are going to drive the boat up (on the water) Friday night and try to stay in a marina some where. Do we have to leave from fishermans, or is it like PS where we can leave when we want, just not get lines wet until 5????
  14. Kevin, Awesome fishing this weekend. Nice catch and great comeback. I think you had boat issues one time right? Unless I got the wrong guy. Anyway, nice fish.
  15. FRICKIN SWEEEEEEEEEET. Hey Rick, how was CANADA????
  16. NICE. first trip out for the year????? How is that?
  17. OK, here we go. I think the fish are coming back, but only in certain spots, so maybe they are not back yet. Did catch some quality fish this weekend out of PS. Friday night fished with my father and a buddy trying to figure out where the fish were for the WMFL event on Sat. Found best fish in 85fow. We were able to land 3 for 4 with the big one getting away. Isn't that always the case. Fished 70-150. First fish in 150fow 6lb laker on the rigger 120 down with a 11" echip white with green fly. Next fish king shaker 120fow on 5 color with glo xmas. Next two fish was a FUN double. Landed the 12 lb king, lost the bigger one at the back of the boat. 80fow just as the sun touched the lake. Full core with moonshine white with 4 black dots, Rigger 60 down on that white 11" echip with green fly was the big one we lost after he got into the dipsey steel, untangled, near the net and ROLLED on us and darn near launched the paddle to the front of the boat. On well, 3 for 4 was better and we figured the fish are back (based on the nice size). Sat morning many teams had a better day in the WMFL event. We ended up with 4 for 5, two of which were about 15lb kings. Other two were a shaker and about a 6 pound fish. 85-110fow with 85 being the prime target. Our lost fish was on full core with a green ladder back ace high plug. Came back with nothing on it. No plug, Just a straight line. not even a squigly on the end due to a bad knot. What worked awesome was the green fly on the end of the 11" white echip on the rigger 60 down. That took our two big fish. the shaker was on 5 color with glo xmas. the 6 pounder was on the dipsey 150back on 2 with a green dolphin 8" echip with a green fly. All in all a pretty good day. Fished 4th for the day and overtook 1st for the season on the PS WMFL totals. Sunday I wanted to get out again because we seemed to have figured something out and the fish were back, or so I thought. BUMPY. AND WINDY. Started early 5 am at 50fow. Moved out to 85 fow where we were happy the last two days. Spent a lot of time there working the spread. FINALLY decided to move to 135 and found some fish. Ended up 3 for 6 with a mix of fish. Of course we missed the big one again. Ened up hitting a rigger on that same 11" echip white with green fly. Went all the way across to the other side dipsey. get this, rigger was 60 down, dipsey was 175 back. Slider on the rigger ended up in one of the swivels for the dipsey. So, the fish stopped spooling line at 250 on the counter. What are the odds of a fish hook going exactly though another on the other side of the boat 60ft down????? Anyway. Boxed a 13 lb king on the 11" echip white with green fly. Boxed a 7 lb ho on 3 color double orange crush. threw back a 17" laker on 5 color coytoe:confused:. Missed on a dipsey 150 back with yellow 8" echip and green/blu fly. missed on rigger (that big one). Missed a steelie right at end of trip on 5 color doing some arobatics way back. Greg, his son and a friend were on the bumpy ride Sunday. Thanks guys, it was awesome. All in all a pretty good weekend.
  18. Rough seas and rough fishing surely made it frustrating out of most ports this weekend. Sometimes I question all the tourney rules, but hey that is why they are all just a little different. Have to figure out which ones you like and which ones you don't. Last year we fished the Big King in GH with GLF. That was a REALLY different format, but it was still fun. Keep your chin up fishsniffer. You are a great fisherman put in a bad situation (weather and fish). Next time you will probably nail em.
  19. Great job on some rough waters. South worked for us too, but mostly because we could not keep the boat straight on any other troll.
  20. SWEEEEET. That is a wall hanger man. At least I would be very tempted to call a taxadermist and put it on ice (or take lots of measurements and pictures for a look alike).
