    My eagle fish finder has a lake maps chip in it and i can sit in my boat and zero in on things[just a lil bit cold out in the pole barn]love the gps fish finder!

    Do they make j-plugs smaller than the #3 size ? Does anyone ever run the smaller plugs earlier in the summer, and also does anyone run any bigger than a size #5 in the fall. I know that tomic lures have a size#7

    those are beuties frank nice work! i dont think i'll run dipsies off my home-made,but i'm hoping i can run 2 core rods off from them,i am gonna use a teather on all holders this year for the ride in and out of the lake. last year i bounced a full core combo right out of SCOTTY ROD HOLDER AND INTO THE LAKE!

    Has anyone made bird tree's or rod holders from pvc? Do they holdup? I have put a tree together [holds three rods] seems like it will work,i used 2 inch pvc and it fits nicely over my adjustable aluminum holder,and i spent only about 10$ bucks. After i paint them i'll post a picture! Ps its o.k. To laugh but i kinda like the price!

    dont feel bad, i thought i saw a sturgeon on the lake superior state fish cam and i did.....but i also found they move the camera indoors to thir fish tank in winter! lol! [not in the river] i was red faced,and my wife laughed at me!

    in august if your at the fish cleaning station to long you'll be seasoned all right! LOL! J1MUSSER is right you should get some dive bomb or snap wieghts if your fishing mono they are relatively cheap and can get you down a bit deeper for cheaper!GREAT POST!MOST ENJOYABLE!

    Does anyone have or use an alternative method to attach backing or leader material to copper lines othe than the albright knot? [i find the albright knot difficult to tie in a rocking boat] THANKS!

    the harness is a good purchase for your boat as many times i have kids or wife on board and it makes it much easier to handle a fish thats halfway across the lake!
