  4. my uncle bought a bunch off e-bay from Seattle. they were silve horde, never caught a fish on one. I guess i should get one wet and give it a chance

  6. honestly i have to say the rules now are pretty retard proof! Its not the fault of the fisherman with common sense of whats right or wrong that has the problem. Its the person that tries to find the loophole to work to their advantage. Ive fished alot of tournaments, and can tell you all captain meetings are the same. The same stupid questions as whats on the radio the next day and so forth. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to read the rules and figure out them. For example: If I was out fun fishing, would I keep over my limit? NO. If the fish feels small do I shake it off or just drag it, and wait for bigger? NO. Sorry guys but this is grade school crap! Lets have some common sense the rules are pretty simple and if you veer from whats given to you in the package at the captains meeting, you are cheating! Doesnt take and idiot to figure it out!
  7. Rumor has it the tournament sent there entry fee back.
  8. Like said by mark, we will stay on big fish until there is no more. There are alot of variables. You have to be in the pier heads by 1 or 2 or your DQ ed. The biggest thing on our boat ( and probably many others) is you have to weigh 10 fish or 12 fish. So that 3 or 4 lb fish is worth 13 or 14 points. The weight of big kings is good, but you also have to have your numbers.
  9. we also stay at Lakes and Trails clean and very friendly
  10. Its good to get the kids involved, or the hunting and fishing will go away!
  11. We ran the chrome with green back on 450 copper tuesday and pulled 9 kings, smallest was 16 with 2 at 19. all 12 came on plugs on copper except 2. those were on a white pro troll with a fly
  12. with spoons we run 6 to 8ft leads. flashers we are anywhere from 18 in to 8 ft
  13. If you cant find one, I have an extra one kicking around somewhere
  14. can we sleep in the boat in the parking lot like ludville J?
