Went out of Holland yesterday morning, ended up 4/6. Got out EARLY and set up in 90'. Trolled west out to 175' when a rigger 75' down went off with a nice king on a Moonshine Moonshine. The fish ended up getting into a wire diver and got off at the back of the boat. Trolled out to 210' and turned around. Heard a lot of radio chatter that they were hammering them in 110'. Apparrently we started too early and over shot the fish. Trolling in east we took a king in 175' on a wire dipsey 250' w/ a chrome/green spinnie and green glow fly. Trolled into 100' before turing back out all the way to 200' again. Headed back east and hit a double in 140' ft. 1 king on a Mag Blue Dolphin 100' down on a rigger. And 1 real nice laker on a wire diver 225' back on a mountain dew SD/mirage fly. The laker was well over 10 lbs. and was released. Trolled back in to 100' and headed back out to 175' Turned around and took a hit in 135' on a rigger 100' down. The rubber band didn't break, fish might have been on the slider, and it got off. Made the same loop in to 100' and out to 175' and then back east. Started pulling lines in 100' when a full core w/ chrome/blue/orange tiger pattern went off. This ended up being a 5-6 lb. laker that was also released. I had a tough day, overshooting the fish, tangling 2 wire divers, and tangling a wire dipsey and 7 color core, also losing a SD/fly and spoon. At leat the weather was nice! Now the boat is being out away.
