GLF
Im just curious. How many people have a Salmon or another fish mounted?
Ginwithtonic
I find mounts difficult to keep clean. They seem to get really dusty so we just catch for sport/eating.
caznik
They cost to much to get done. Caznik
bluedevil
I would have voted but I did not see the "have not caught one big enough to mount yet" option up there. I keep telling myself that I will not get a salmon mounted unless it is 30lb's or more but as the years go buy I think I may have to lower my standings. But I agree with caz also. Live2fishdjs
I love fish mounts and could stare at them for hours remembering the fish and the trip.I have done 1 steelhead (34" colored up buck) and 1 bass (6.5# out of the lake I live on). I also have 3 mounts at various shops right now 1 laker (17# caught on inland lake in MN), 1 skamania (37" 17# from the pier last year), and 1 brown (30" 16# off MC pier this spring). FreeTime
I have never had a mount done but plan on getting a couple this summer. I am not looking for huge fish but beautiful ones. I want a fish of each species that are just really good specimens good colors and really healthy good looking are what I am looking for.Dave
