Port Sheldon 8/6 AM 2 for 5

Tried in close where we found fish Monday but the water warmed up. So we trolled west and picked up our first fish in 95' on a 5 color with a blue spatterback plug. Had a few drive bys and decided to pull lines at 10. Just started and the rigger went with a coyote spoon on a free slider with the rigger down 65. 75' of water. That was it. Nice morning on the water.

nice job - I wanted to run north and try the area you describe but we had a limited window of time and fortunately it still worked out

I will say that there was a flock of boats inside of us off the sliders in that 50-60 and I wonder if they did any good

SeaFoam was that you just outside of us this AM in 75-80?

One of these days I'm going to launch in Holland and run south like you do.  I'll be off for a week or so now since my brother will be gone.  I'd say you made the right call this morning.

Yes 2MD. That was me. I figured I would be on the fish when I saw that beautiful Parker, and knew Pug would deliver.

I was clearing a mess in my net and I looked up and saw you. Was quite fun. I tipped over a foam piece with about 15 spoons I had set out for the morning. Landed in the net. What a mess.
