Grand Haven 8/2 am

Fished this morning setting lines around 5:45 in 100 fow.  Worked between 130 and 180 several times and ended up going 8/9.  4 kings, 2 steelhead, 1 coho, 1 lake trout.  Speeds 2.0-3.3.

Had a great morning out there.  First 6 bites were before 7:30 am.  Last 3 spaced out between 7:30 and 10 am.

What was your best depth? Anyone do any good in closer? Nice job and thanks for your reports!

Best early was 130.  Best later was 160.

A few charters were still trolling the mud and the channel at 10:15.   Sounds like mixed reports of a couple fish to about a dozen fish.

Waiting to get a box of nice coho.  Will be fishing Ludington tomorrow.  And probably Frankfort end of next week.
