rbradley
I have a tough situation on my hands, after looking all winter and selling both my boats I have found 2 all of the sudden that are what I am looking for. Both are 2000 islanders, 1 is 19' the other 22' I am leaning heavily towards the 22, but if the 19 were to fit in my garage that would tip the scales that way. Anyone know if it would fit under a 7' door?
Jason Grimm
I just measured my 19' Islander and it is almost exactly 8 foot tall from the ground to top of wind shield. It definitely will not fit in my 7 foot garage door. When the Bimini top is deployed it is 9 1/2 foot tall. The boat is sitting on a trailer. rbradley
Thanks that is exactly what I was looking for!
mriversinco
It mostly depends on how low the boat sits in the trailer. Some trailers carry it low, and others don't although I think 7' would probably be out of the question for any trailer.
Rascal Trophy Fishing
I had a similar problem with a 19' center console and removed the windshield, dropped the hand bar, and let half the air out of the tires to get it in. Not that much work either.
