Flyboy
Anyone run leaders on their riggers? I've had mine setup to have a 7-8ft leader tied to a swivel and then to the main line. The slider would go above that swivel. Is it worth the extra swivel or should I just leave out the leader and attach to the main line.
NO MO BEGGEN
if it was me id just run main lines seems to me you would want as few weak points in the line as possible ive seen to many swivles break with big fish

SUPERTRAMP
I run leaders on riggers when I run Plugs usually a 5 to 6' leader. It enables me to change plug bodies in a hurry. I normally do not run leaders on my main line for spoons, and the. Flasher or paddle is its own leader system. I do like 4' to 5' leaders on the sliders, either fixed or free. Brandon Dekker
I run a 10' section of 30# flurocarbon on my riggers. Somedays it makes the difference and some days it doesn't.
SUPERTRAMP
A thought about running sliders I do put a speed bead on my main line about 5 ft from the swivel so that the slider doesn't slide down and cause problems with the main line swivel.
