Nailer
We fished Sat am and got a nice early start. With the full moon, flat lake, and cold water in tight, we where a bit worried. Started in 60 with a king on the slider right off the go, Things went dead after that. Trolled out to 120, with only a laker to show for it. Went back shallow, and found a few fish there. Ended the day only 3/6. Spent the afternoon with my wife at Yacht Basin, stayed the night, and went out with Captain Don of Tangled Mess in the morning. We started in tight, and never went deeper than 90 fow. Ended the morning at 10 am and had 6/6. 1 chrome, 1 green, and 4 silver. When we went in it looked like the current had stalled out. Jacob mated for Captain Norm of Can't Miss this after noon out of Saugatuck, and said the warm water had returned there already. My guess is by mid week all of this cold water will be gone. Jacob's friend Jake with his first big lake chrome. Big Lake uv lure from the WMFL event.
