Talked Ashley into fishing with me today, well, didn't take much to get her to go. Went to the spot. Did find out a couple things about the lake today. 1st: there is a creek of some sort that flows into it, and there was open water around the way to the spot. 2: That creek had surprisingly really stained the water, it was amber colored. Drilled a couple of holes, found the fish and set up shop. Ashley out fished her ol' man pretty good.... Fun times. brought home about 1/2 dozen, lot of dinks today. Ice was looking pretty 'punky', and quite soft. Wouldn't be surprised if it goes quickly with the warm weather they're predicting. Here's my pride and joy!
