For the most part 2 fly twinkie rig length from the front swivel to the bottom of the hook you are looking at around 36"to 40". 3 fly add a foot. If your just running the head with no teasers, it's pretty much what the fish want, start at about 3 feet and go longer from there. we have had moderate secess running a head 5 or 6 feet be hind a dipsey, no flasher..
