It was such a nice day yesterday My buddy and I decided to make the run to Manistee yesterday for some evening fishing and we did pretty good going 4/8. Launched the boat at about 5:30pm and headed south setting up in the 12's. We trolled back and forth between the 12's and 11's all night working the 130-150 fow range. Rigs that worked for us last night was a lemon ice spoon 40' down on the rigger, green alwife E-chip spoon 80' down on the rigger, white hotchie and white fly on the dipsy 300' back set on 1.5, and white spin doctor and meat on a dipsy 150' back also set on 1.5.

Biggest fish was about 15lb's.

I have heard super lines get as deep as wire. What do you think?

I have no experience with wire but I would say that they would be close in comparison.

I just dont feel the need to, nor do I have the extra $$ to ugrade to wire.
