DIRTY DOG

the first time i can remeber was behind my parents house on the rabbet river in hamilton i was about 4 and we would go sucker fishing for something to do after dad got home from work, like i seen in a nother post SURE WOULD BE NICE TO BE A KID AGAIN becouse i fished about 300 day a year on the river some where and by age 9 i had my first conoe but my first time on the big lake was on my 8th birthday my dad took me out on a freind of his boat out of saugotuck called the wolf pad we left the slip at 6 am and had 15 kings in the box by 9am and i bet i lost that many to ,the most i remember of that day was how sore my arms were and that there was no way to lift the cooler this was 7/11 1978 and i was hooked for life wow that brought back some memories terry

i agree with unreel ,a hard toss up between pickled sunshine or the blue bubble glow

rich can answer this clearer than me but here it gos the points are the wieght of your catch plus 10 points for each fish that you've weighted the points for all five tournys get added for a total to determine the champ and the end of the season the big fish game is for hoom ever gets the biggest fish for the season and has donated a spin dr and yes this is an additoinal part also yes there is a pay out for the first 3 places and big fish for all 5 tournys and i dont think that it may mess your chances for the points lead at the end if your not at the last one except that you will not have any point becouse you did not fish that day hope this helps terry

i made this one last nite for dinner and all i can say is ,WOW ,this is one of the best chowders i think ive ever made terry

this was a great season for the dog here are a few of our memorable days this is of my bosses boys on there very first big lake trip and here is there catch for the mornig ,they cought ALL OF THEM ON THERE OWN this is one of my boss and his wife the next day ,all befor 9am a very detirmind young man doing battle on a 15 lb king a freind of mine with his 3rd big king on a 15 color core in 1 hour we told him that his arms would stop ackeing in a day or 2 this was a few of the days catch this is one of plumcrazy and my self around the fourth of july out of holland this was all before 8am thanks phil my and my oldest doughter and a freind on a nice day of perch fishing out of south have in july BY THE WAY IS IT SPRING YET:grin:

1 doe with my bow 1 4 pt and a doe with my shot gun 2 big 4.5 year old doe on a management hunt on the todd farm with my muzzle loader

i fished a small lake in van burren co. and had a limet of blue gills last nite and again tonite all aroung 8 to 9 inches

i also ice fish 3 to 4 days a week but all on the inland lakes in allegan , van berren and barry co., mostly for gills ,crappies and pike, but have always been interested in fishing the bay, but dont now where to start becouse i dont have a quad or sled and ive alway read that the fishing is done 2 to 6 miles off shore terry

WORK, WORK, WORK its the time of year where very one needs there cough and cold meds., and when im not at work it time to run the girls to indoor soccor , cheerleading , art club and now basket ball and swim club and if i still have a min. or 2 aftre all of that maybey a little goose hunting terry

well im just getting done with the clean up ,and it looks like tenderloin and eggs for breakfeast well heres how it went ,i went down to a peace of property that me and my bro. inlaw hunt togather and got settled around 5:15 and was getting frusterated around 6:30 and thought that it would be another nite of not seeing anything ,as i have not even seen a deer from the tree yet in 8 trips out and 5 mins. later i here my bro. inlaw drive down the road and leave, about that time it was like he let them out of the truck or something becouse here they came ,i had 7 does and fawns milling around the ridge im sitting on and one of the big old does{141 lbs} desided to come over and say hey, so at 7 yd i drow and shot she went about 50 yd and tipped over so now its time to look for some horn ,hopefully this cooler weather will put them in the mood a litle more Terry:grin:

i was also there just before dark and got a cool vid. of 2 FOOLS out at the end of the pier as a wave like in the second pic made them run to the beach i will try to post it later
