  1. I don't know if it is true or not but on Michigan Sportsman Forum they were saying that the sand at the end of the Port Sheldon piers is so shallow that some larger boats may have trouble getting out? Anyone know how shallow it is?
  2. I believe most of that river is no wake. There might be a little where you can plane out if you want. When going thru Kalamazoo Lake don't go straight line. Stay on the South and Southwest portion of the lake. In the middle it gets shallow.
  3. Went 3 for 4 last night out of Holland. 2 kings about 10-12 pounds and a small coho. The one that got off we believe was a steelhead. 50'-55' was our depth. Both kings came on blue dolphin on the high diver set at 70'. Coho came on lazer rainbow thin fin 80ish feet behind a planner board. We were also able to catch a nice Goodyear tire with a 5' piece of 1" rope on it that was bobbing around. That would have been fun to hit while up on plane.
  4. Thanks for the link. Hoping to go out of Holland Thursday afternoon.
  5. Late report. Saturday afternoon out of Saugatuck. Made a shake down cruise and fished maybe 1.5 hours. Went 3 for 4. 2 coho and one laker. Lost a laker also. 50' depth. Lakers came off the bottom on a silver trash can dodger and blue/chrome spin an glow. The coho came on lazer rainbow Brad's thin fin and red/orange hot n tot. The boat floated and ran good so hopefully it will be a good summer of fishing.
  6. Caught many a fish on the old Zebco combo! Great memories fishing in Grandpa's pond.
  7. For Sale: Large Happy Troller. Works as it should. Switched to bags years ago and cleaning the barn. It has been welded on the edges where it is designed to bend if left down when powering up. $40. Call or text. 269-455-905seven.
  8. This one was a hen full of spawn. Her stomach was empty.
  9. Took out a co-worker from our China plant last night. Kinda slow for us last night. One 15 lb Lake Trout in 92' of water, 65' down on a rigger with NBK spoon. Have a good day.
  10. I find the most west side fishing reports HERE and on Michigan Sportsman.com forums under Cold Water Species Fishing. Giving it a go tonight out of Port Sheldon. Hopefully I'll have something to report on tomorrow.
  11. It looks like his graph and fish hawk are much better than mine! I wonder what impound yard it’s at?
  12. Yep. It sounds like the car driver may have fallen asleep.
  13. I ran across this today on my way to work. Bummer. Hope nobody was hurt.
  14. This is a post from the Yacht Basin's FB page. Hopefully the water has gone down and the ramp will be open. I will have to remember the Muck boots next time I go there.
  15. Hockey, Plan your barn build/size accordingly. Like Sea Eagle I should have gone bigger and taller on my pole barn when I built it. Now I have to make due. Although I have thoughts of adding to the side similar to Sea Eagle.
