Yep d and r in kzoo is swapping it tomorrow for me hope this itls it I just thought it was strange the other unit with down imaging had something of a sonar come on but not the others

Tomorrow I'm gonna swap transducers and hope that will fix it

I reset both of the units and when I talked to hummi bird last time the lady also thought it was the unit I think I'm gonna try to get my hands on another transducer at this point

i think his had down imaging mine does not have it. No movement in the plug made sure it was all tight i didn't take it back to the lake i figured it should at least register something for depth i didn't put the transducer in a bucket of water if that did anything idk

that is what I am thinking to but I cant explain why the other worked? just powered it back on thinking maybe it wasn't getting enough power the display showed 11.6 volts

hey guys I just bought a new hummingbird 858c hd had it installed by a marina that has done all the work on the boat great place and we went out to the lake last weekend everything worked great....except the sonar wont work and the depth readout will not show up it is just a blank spot the black box wont even show up. We took it back to the marina thinking it was in the wiring. The owner saw what it was doing and had another head unit he plugged it and it worked so I returned just my unit for another one today and what do ya know the same thing happened......Im at a loss and im not sure what to do here any help anyone?? Thanks ALOT

Guys from work end out last weekend in a 25 footer used the public launch and got it on and off the trailer said it wasn't a breeze but its doable

a guy i work with is going out of nb tomorrow in a bigger boat ill ask him how it went im not sure if they will use the launch yet or not he has a 24 or 25' that he is planning to get in his slip from the launch im not sure when yet

300' worked great for us this year always seemed to catch the biggest and most fish

last march was crazy out deeper in the 130-150 fow range limited on kings in an hour...but we never got into a buch of shallow coho early even tho we were fishin in late febuary

Skams are at the pair heads and we caught kings in 80 and 130 fow last weekend got some nice perch in 30 fow also. I like the bh launch u don't deal with the current although it really isn't that bad on the St. Joe side but we always use the Benton harbor one and have no problem.s just.lock the doors

we started in 90 fot with nothing till we got to 120 then picked up 2 and the last 3 hits all came in about 10 min right as it was getting dark

went 4-5 in a few hours last night in about 120 fow 2 fish on riggers 100' down and the other 3 hits came on a mag dipsey 110' out

On going to try to get out this weekend first week back to working 5 days a week kinda killed the Friday morning trips...sitting at the boat launch right now waiting for the boat
