  2. took my dad out today and thought we would run out to 200 fow and set down but we stopped in 150 and had a hit on 400 copper in 165fow on a nbk and boated a 5 # king and caught 3 more in 200fow. rigger down 100 on a moonshine(dont know the name, white with a white ladderback tape seems like it has some pink on it also)13# king 400 copper again on a inside turn with nbk 10# king wire diver 250 back on 1 setting white paddle and poofster fly(13# laker) radio traffic sounded like 125fow on the bottom was giving up some fish
  3. thanks for the report, about a month ago I had a lamprey on just a spoon.I think a fish took a swipe at the spoon and the lamprey on the fish got hooked.

  5. thanks,I heard the bite stopped around 8:00 today
  6. the surface temp. was 71.the fish I think were out of temp because they felt warm when unhooking. dont have temp at the ball yet,the fish came at sunrise and then nothing.I would for sure start deeper tonight. GL Randy
  7. had a short trip out today and went 3 for 4,2 double headers. set up in 55 fow and had 2 on in 59 fow, landed both and had another double header in 62 fow was busy with the one fish and never got to the other pole before it got off.Pulled lines at 8:45 it was windy enough that we left early. 3 nice kings, biggest 15 # all on dipseys: braided mag ring back 65 on 2.5 setting 2 hits blue dlp. spoon wire reg. ring back 55 on 2.5 setting with white paddle and green seaweed fly.
  8. set lines around 6:30 in 80 fow didnt do anything till 95 fow and a nbk slider took a steelhead down 72 on a rigger.this took 3 fish. 125 was our best fow and a few boat I heard did better on bigger fish in 80-90 fow, full core was good with moonshine flounder pounder as 300 copper with blue dlp.We went 10 for 15 or 16,had a new young buck and the lead core kick his butt!!said he would go again but his arms were sore, ha ha I really havent change lures much the last 3 weeks, alley cat ,nbk(been my best),blue dlp.,and flounder pounder been very hot. good luck

  11. I had to put sweat pants on yesterday because I donated enough blood for one day. Price we pay for these flat fishing days
  12. hi,set lines at 7:00 in 80fow and started hooking fish in 89 fow to110 fow till we pulled lines at 11:30, lost a lot of fish and ended up with 10 for 18 or so. Had 300 copper taking drag 3 times and no fish when we got to the pole.swivel broke on another, steelhead jumping like mad right behind the boat a couple time and got off.The bigger fish were full with bait so I think they might stay around for a while . It was a good day what worked for us has stayed the same for a week now 300 copper with stinger nbk smaller size 10 color with purple coyote 10 color with blue dph. rigger down 65 slider was hot with a nbk question-how deep does 300 copper run,i was running it on the same side as 10 color with the copper inside, did I get lucky not to have a mess. thanks
  13. thanks iam going out now 7-1am and thats where I will start
  14. nice job if you use the state park launch make sure you head south towards the dead tree the eagle is in often, south east is very shallow.
  15. put lines down around 7:00 in 80 fow and didnt do anything till after 8:00 when a rigger went in 111fow and took a nice king 80 down on flounder pounder north troll, one steelhead on 5 color red spoon and the rest of the action was on 300 copper with nbk also in 111fow.ended up 3 for 5.3 or 4 boat were fishing in around 60 fow and spent some time in there but didnt hear how they did. 2 steelheads and one king
  16. got out early around 4 pm and caught 2 right away and went dry for a long time but ended up 7 for 10 .5 steelheads and two kings all in 110 fow water and everthing caught or had fish on from, 5 colors to 400 copper with 10 color and 400 copper doing the best, fish seem to be mostly from 45ft. down to how ever deep 400 copper runs. blue d,nbk stinger doing the best with zero on the one fly we had down, only one on a rigger 67 down.
