  1. Hah, everyone I know still thought it was in 80' off tunnel park. Sure enough, I just checked the gps mark and the numbers match. Very good to know, and handy for anyone heading out of Port Sheldon. If I remember correctly it is in 90'
  2. I agree, We need to help each other. I grew up fishing south off of Saugatuck and SH back in the days when they were plentiful. Now live in Grand Haven and have put in some serious time the past few years but just can't find any numbers. I know they're on an upward swing in population and can be caught, just need more info. Holland has been very good the past couple years.
  3. Found a weather buoy straight out of port Sheldon yesterday. Anyone know if you can get info from it or what number it is. I tried looking it up but only find the Holland buoy. I had not heard there was one out there.
  4. yeah, the reports were good all day Sat. and Sunday am. The fish were there, just couldn't get em to go. I am curious to see some other reports for last night. 2 boats at the launch when we pulled had black and white kitty's.
  5. fished from 4:30 to 8:30 tonight. Very slow was outcome. We were fortunate to pick up 1 nice king in 145 ft. but did not have any other bumps. we started in 110 and were out as far as 150. Fish took a braid dipsey with a chrome protroll and a bugeye glow fly in smelt halo pattern. http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/xx8/blackhawkhiggy/b6dfbc18-51f1-4b54-b503-1aef3bb8f7fb_zps97235ddc.jpg' alt='b6dfbc18-51f1-4b54-b503-1aef3bb8f7fb_zps97235ddc.jpg'> Common theme on the radio seemed to be the same. A few fish here and there but no real pattern going.
  6. 05/19 2 for 4 fished 9:30am - 1:00pm headed straight out to 120 set lines and headed SW. @ 153' Had a hit and a miss on high diver wonderbread spoon. 12 lb king on rigger 85 down purple carbon moonshine. Then a double with 300 copper and same High diver with wonderbread. Lost the nice king on the diver at the boat and landed the 15 lb king on the copper blue dolphin DW mag spoon. Stayed between 155 and 145. fly's have hatched:(
  7. I will use it all summer until it is pulled. Invaluable info you can get from the couch before you head out. Thank you.
  8. I will use it every time I plan to fish. Invaluable info you can get from the couch before you head out. Thanks
  9. that is very cool. Is it turn over silt? what makes it cloudy?
  10. Thanks for the report, very helpful to anyone trying to get a couple last trips in. It really helps the decision process when you know you are going to have to run out to 200'
  11. I too will be in the woods this weekend, but with a trailer boat, I will be sneaking out a few more times. The fish will be in soon, probably this weekend.
  12. It was a great evening. My wife was taking pictures of the sunset when the rigger went. I started yelling, fish, fish, fish.... and she threw her camera and grabbed the rod. It was perfect. I picked up the camera as she is reeling and took a couple pics.
  13. I had a couple buddy's fishing GH this weekend and the story is the same, slow. A lot can change in a week though. hopefully we will get a couple reports mid week. Youth Deer this coming weekend so I'll be in the woods with my boy. good luck
  14. Started at @ 4:30pm in 40' working NW. Nothing until 7:30 on an E troll in 114' down 75' on rigger. bloody nose j plug. only hit all evening.
  15. I agree with Sherman. My 3 cyl. 2 stroke loves the plate. Even at 3.0 to 4.0 mph it would load up and foul plugs. I have been extremely happy with the Easy Troller. The hinged bottom is the key. Adding the notch as Turfwrench showed would be an easy fix for you and might solve the issue.
  16. thanks for the report, been wondering if anyone made it out.
  17. There is a small craft advisory until Saturday evening for most of south west mi. going to be rough this weekend. 4 to 7 footer predicted. paddle/fly and plugs seem to be the hot program good luck and let us know if you make it out.
  18. awesome day! Thanks for the details, just picked up a couple more Silver hordes yesterday:thumb:
  19. thanks for the report Kevin. Isn't it hard to keep the oars out of the dipsey rods:lol:
