  1. Great job out there Collin!! Nice work getting your meat rig program going.
  2. Had the chance to fish the wmfl again this past saturday with a great group of guys. Set lines at 6am in 220fow straight out of holland. Hit out first four kings by 6:25am. Fish all came on meat rigs recomended by Aaron at lakeshore outfitters. Blood run spin doctor with rapture wild fern meet rig. Had a slow spot from 230 to 240. Then we hit the rest of our fish in 240-260. 5 colors with orange dreamweaver spoons. Also Bll uv modified blue dolphin took 4 fish. Ended the morning going 14-14. Great day on the water.
  3. I often run the red one with black squiggles on a five color for steelhead all year long. It usually produces. Make sure you change the split rings and hooks because if you don't your first 10lb steelhead will.
  4. Went up north with the wife this weekend to see my family. Fortunately, I managed to convince her that we needed to take the boat so she could get away from my family when they really got crazy. Fished out of ludington Sunday morning. It was tough. Managed two nice 15lb kings at the point and one trout. Sunday pm went up to Manistee because we heard trout scout caught some nice fish sat pm. Set up in 160 fow north of the harbor and hammered a really nice 17lb king on the high diver. Slid in to 140fow at 8:00pm and hit 7 nice kings ranging from 8- 16lbs. Bait and big hooks were everywhere. The wife and I had a great time and we ended the night by watching the fireworks on the lake. We also watched 2 big 36' tiaras just about run into eachother. i think they both had the auotpilot runing finally one of them noticed the other one. A great weekend overall.
  5. Nice job guys. I talked to several charter boats that struggled to get 4 - 5 fish today and yesterday.
  6. Hi Joel, The salmon fishing is pretty slow right now out of Holland. However, there are plenty of Lake trout to be caught right now. Start in 75fow south of the harbor and work your way out. White and green dodgers near bottom with Spin n glows have been working pretty well for me. I'm sure some other guys will give some advice as well. We have had some interesting currents here lately so be sure to put your probe down to get your speed. Good luck out there! Brandon
