  1. We fished from Thursday to Sunday. Started out slow and got better everyday. Got 2 on the bank and inside it from the point north to the 7's. Friday we ran down to the little point and fished from the dunes to south of the point and got 4 for the ladies tourney. Saturday we went back to Little Sable and got 3 on the bank there then we headed offshore to the 41 line and started hitting fish. We had double digit bites but only landed 7. On Sunday, we went offshore off the project and fished the 39's to 41's working north. Double digits bites but only landed 7 again. We were hitting a lot of steelhead and coho's offshore and not keeping them hooked up. Ended up 28th out of 68 boats. It was a spoon bite the first 3 days and then rotators started to work on Sunday. Good rigs were: Yeck lemon ice on a 225 coppers, moonshine green jeans on 300 coppers, moonshine oscar on a 100 copper, white blade/green tape spin doctor and a green fly and a chrome green blade spin doctor worked on riggers down 72 and 82 ft. A black momba meat rig on a 1-1/2 lb out 240ft. A mag fire and ice moonshine on a rigger down 65. Carmal dolphins on a full core and 225 copper. I'm headed back this weekend, good luck.

  3. Happy Birthday Terry!
  4. Yes, we are on Steve's boat in slip B27. We are not fishing the Ruby, starting out of Pentwater and fishing there then headed to Ludinton to the marina after fishing. We are fishing the ladies and men's tournies Fri to Sun.

  5. Nice job Matt, are you going to be in Ludington for the tourney next week or working in Manistee?
  6. Nice job Tom and Pat. Stayed home on the lake this weekend, first time we didn't go north for the 4th in many years. We are hauling the boat to Ludington next weekend. Your neighbors launched some great fireworks Sat and Sun.
  7. IMO, frozen salmon after 3-5 months is yuk. I never freeze any until the end of the season and then not much, just enough to last a few months. For long term storage, canning is the way to go.
  8. I'd go 200 or 250, you'll cover the depth range between your full cores and the 300 copper. If you change the full core to 13 colors, go 250 on the copper.
  9. Thanks for the report.
  10. Erik, glad your on the mend and the worst is behind you now, better days and good times ahead!
  11. I'm in if at Ludington, my calendar is full every weekend from July 9th to week after Labor Day with crews and the tourny at Ludington. If at Manistee, I'd try to make it up for a get together after fishing depending on the weekend and who's on my boat. Some just fish and leave and some hang out and we go golfing or party in the afternoon.
  12. Thanks for the report!
  13. Thanks for the report!
  14. Nice job Aaron in tough conditions.
  15. Nice catch for this time of year, getting tougher up and down the lake like typical for mid June.
  16. Nice job honoring those who served our country!
  17. Fished on a buddies boat from 90 to 190 feet of water from the 53's to 55's. Hit 8, boxed 4, threw one back. Fish were scattered. Nobody I spoke with tore up but everybody got some fish. Our best was a silver streak green suger on a 40 ft rigger, it took 5 shots. A DW SOG hit on the other rigger at 70 ft. A yeck blue dolphin on a half core and a moonshine mag daisy cutter on a core with a 1/2 lb were the other baits that got bit. Good luck!
  18. Nice report and catch Terry!
  19. Good job Frank, hope you can get back on the water as soon as possible.
  20. Thanks for the report Tom. Wish I had got over there this weekend.
  21. The last one you boxed was a real good one!
