  1. On lake.O,we have the fish hook aswell as the spiny water flea. Fish hook flea's collect on your standard wire rigger cable,so replacing it with braid is asking for major headaches. Plus Kings are attracted to the wire hum alot of the time. How would you add a stacking clip to the braid,so it wouldn't slip(ie:scotty power lock stacker clips)?
  2. When the fish are coming deep(currently on lake.O),copper goes out first on the inlines, then riggers, then wire divers. Increase your boat speed to 3-3.5 mph to get your outside lines set up quicker, then back it down to your usual trolling speed. Tournament time on Lake.O,8 rods(4 guys) out in 5-6 minutes is the standard.
  3. Your image might be larger than 500KB? You can hotlink your images from several free, online picture hosting servers. PhotoBucket is a good site. After you upload your pictures, just copy/paste the IMG code/url under your image. As simple as that H.I.H.
  4. Never made it out today, was informed the cold water moved in yesterday,44 F on the surface out front of the pierheads. Tough bite...............
  5. Cormorant nest? That's one major cluster f_ck
  6. Thx guys Today is a blow off, hopefully back out tomorrow morning.
  7. Pictures tell the story....................... Jammer with his big guy(24 lbs) of the 06 season.... Copper wire was out 5 minutes when this one climbed on.... Chrome rocket for the Q........ Say CHEESE!!!!!............... Opti Inticers paid off ......... Fish were coming 60-75 ft down, rigger bite this morning, wire divers only took 2 shots(dropped both fish). Green/chrome Inticers with A-TOM-MIK green mirage flies were very consistent.
  8. 2 riggers,2 wire lb balls on the inside of 2 wire diver rods(3 setting). Add a couple cores(or copper for deep presentations)off the boards.
  9. :cpox: middle one here too.
  10. How many anglers check the hook points prior to sending that lure down? Too often I witness someone clipping on a brand new lure, without testing the hook points......... I never send a lure down without thumb nail testing the points. Even some of the chemically sharpened hooks still require a touch up:eek:
  11. If tourney fishing, the answer is both. If derby fishing,I can wait all day for one big fish. Rec angler.
  12. Here's hoping it's not another disaster/waste of our license revenues like many times in the past. We'll see...........
  13. Personal preference Double, doesn't really matter IMO. I don't bother with backing,1000 ft of 30 lb seven strand wound on tight.
