my self i would go with a set of rod trees mounted in tracks right at the back of your hard top.have been running trees for two years and would not go any other way.they are great when running multipal boards:grin:

mike,we are if the weather holds off a little longer.there was 2 inches of snow when we went thru cadillac in the morning,still on the ground in the woods on the way home.don,it depends on the day but i start at 2.8 and adjust from there,as fast as 3.4 and as slow as 2.5.thats sog off the gps,i dont run a probe this time of year

yes it would.they will have one at birch run this year,cant waite to check it out.have to keep the starcraft for at least 3 more years till its paid off.will be sad the day i have to let her go,shes a great boat.

most of you have me beat,only been at it ten years.started out on the big manistee river and never looked back.i am what you would call a salmon addict.i even got married on the beach in manistee then threw my new wife in the boat and went out for a limit of kings.

mark,we probably feed half of the people in town,we own a pizza restaruant here intown.we give most of it to customers,friends and family.its not hard to get rid of:grin:

i know some of them were introduced to help treat sewage problems.hope they dont make it to the lake but with the way our government works they will be a day late and a dollar short with their response.it will be a sad day my friends:mad:

sat we missed our 4 man limit by 1 fish,ended up with 31 steelhead,7 kings and a few dink kings to the boat.we fished 100 to 200 fow 140 to 170 fow best from the 16s to the 20s with fish the whole way here is what worked. riggers pink panties 65 dwn took 3 fish agent orange 45 dwn took 6 fish nuked veggies 35 dwn took 1 fish orangegasm 32 dwn took 1 fish bumble bee 21 dwn took 2 fish boards screwball on 1 color took 9 fish steelie stomper on 2 colors took 3 fish fire ball with earings on 3 colors took 6 fish orange cracked ice with earings on 3 colors took 4 fish cedar point on 5 colors took 5 fish orange tranny on 5 colors took 2 fish today we boxed our 3 man limit,we ended up with 14 steelies,7 kings and a few dink kings to the boat.we fished 100 to 240 fow with 160 the best from the 17s to the 22s with the 20s to the 22 the best.here is what worked riggers pink panties 65 dwn took 4 fish agent orange 51 dwn took 1 fish boards screwball on 1 color took 3 fish steelie stomper on 2 colors took 1 fish orange cracked ice with earings took 4 fish fireball with earings took 4 fish cedar point on 5 colors took 2 fish bumble bee on 5 colors took 2 fish we got some reel nice fish this weekend,pics are in the gallery:grin:

i will give half the credit to learnig how to use my graph(raymarine c-80,dsm 600 sounder)to it full potential.just about every trip out this year we were able to set up on the fish right from the start.once you are on the fish you just have to figure out what they want and how they want it.the only down side has been releasing a lot of fish at the back of the boat without netting them has burned up a lot of hooks,:lol:have to give the wife some credit to she has reeled in at least a third of them:grin:

sorry things didnt work out for ya this trip steve.there is always next time.

only 600 mike,i would have to live in manistee to hit the magic 1000 fish mark.maybe when i move up there in 6 or 7 years:D
