  1. I run the old non magnum dipsys as high divers on three and the mags on wire on 1 or 1.5.
  2. I run offshores like frank we run them for walleye so we run alot of them and run them often I also gave my church boards to a friend in Tenessee figured he wouldnt know any better. But if you are talking about running magnum dipsys off boards you could try the big boards but I am almost positive neither boards will pull a mag dipsy they have some serious tourque on big boards I dont think your planer board tow line will never come out of the water and as far as inlineboards they wont come out of the water maybe I am all wet but I dont think its possible maybe the z boards as I have never used them
  3. ok cole slaw and french fries work for me 3 people counting myself -boat Bearly Movin-site 84
  4. http://www.fishingrodstuff.com/twili_tip.html This link shows a picture of a twili tip you glue it in place of the last eye on the rod so it doesnt kink the wire or copper.

  7. I dont know how short you plan on going but the longer the better when your talking wire mine are 10.5 fotters no stretch what so ever nothing gives on a wire rig except for the pole so you need alot of pole to take up the shock.

  13. Walleye pros dont use there fish finders?? Nothing could be further from the truth they use the biggest widest fish finders available! Adams right the ping dont scare them I have walleye 5 feet under my feet all the time ice fishing with my transducer hanging down a foot in the water.
  14. ok so I want to use like either 150 or 125 lb I am thinking power pro can I still use a clincher to fix my cannonball to the line?
  15. to fish 500 down you would need like a 25-39 lb cannonball or it would look like a dipsy with all the blowback!
  16. The line will be garbage by the time you use that much!
  17. also it just makes sense you want the shallowest rods furthest away from the boat..
  18. thats how my burt trees are all at the same angle and rotated around the pole!! And they are sweet!!

  20. I walleye fish mostly and I am not going back to big boards for noone and somedays I run 10 or 11 inlines at a time you get a problem once in a while but most of the time even the problems are easily fixed!!
