In hindsight we should have slid out, but we stayed in because of the reports I got from the day before.

By the sounds of it the "mega school" aka main concentration of fish is Ludington to Manistee, that's probably because our water is already in the 50's due to how warm and sunny it's been. Fished Saugatuck Sat AM. Trolled from 55-200 FOW without a bite. Went 7-9 from 200-235 and back to 200: a couple of steelhead and very small salmon all in the top 15 feet on orange spoons. Had 1 big fish on, 120 down on a chrome SD w a green crinkle. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman

Heard it was a poor fishing inside of 100 fow. For morning if you haven't had any bites in the first 1.5 hours, move. Know several boats from from Muskegon to Saugatuck that found several nice fish out in the 100-150 fow. Biggest numbers if fish do appear to be up north though.

We fished PS south of pier heads 5:30 pm to 8:30, 1/1, super small king. Talked to a couple other guys at the dock, they didn’t box many fish either. Fished from 6:30-11am and went 0-0. 60-100fow South of pier due to boat traffic.

Ran to little point and set line at 5:30. Trolled north (NW to NE) in 90-160 fow. Went 6/10 all kings. Pulled lines at 8:40 to beat the storms rolling across the lake. Speed 2.0-3.0 variable. Fish got shallower as it got darker out. Two coho and a small king. King in 104fow on NBK on rigger down 50’. Small coho on fire tiger Brads thin fin on 2C and other small coho blue dolphin on slider with main line only down 20’. Looks like nice kings that were here scattered.
