unfortunately this run is jinxed with warm water - no bites - started down off Saugatuck and then PUG returned to Holland in 5-6footers and gave that a shot too - even several charters off GH coming up empty - both rivers were 3 degrees colder than the big lake which is not a good sign! heard of 4 matures caught NW of GH in 170fow 140-150down so PUG is still hopeful that there might be a cold front and run to target

Bummer. That water temp can certainly be a challenge. I don’t like the combat fishing in close so will chase the silver fish out deeper this coming weekend.

I've got a bad feeling it could be one of those years. My dad and I plan on getting out next weekend and I'm hoping the little bit of north wind coming up can make a difference

Had the same idea who are we kidding I just want to post a pier report before you one of these years.  Alarm went off at 3:30 and I walked about halfway to the barn and said piss on this, it’s freezing and it’s an hour in and out each way at Saugatuck so after this weekend I went back to bed.  
 

If there was a chance of catching some in Holland this being the last year really I’d been more likely to try, as that’s ten minutes from work and not an hour plus with the ride from the piers added on.
