Solo 4 for 9,  fished 105-135. 105-115 best. All boated fish came off DRs. Lost 2 sets of main lures with sliders.  Two nasty tangles and two broke lines getting fish to net position. One fish hit just as I loaded it and put it down. He spit the hook out before I could get it in. I couldn't get the 5th one even with an extra hour of fish time. Did get one 20# though.

Port rigger, dwn 88, 105 fow with happee meal took king (7.62#), W trl, 5:39am

Stb rigger, dwn 84, 111 fow with bloody nose mag king (8.8#), S trl. 6:29am

Port rigger, dwn 84, 111 fow with goby slider, king (5#), N trl, 8:47am

Port rigger, dwn 84, 115 fow, with wonderbread mag, king (20#), SW trl, 10:10am

Troll speed was 2.4-2.6 sog.

Nice job Littleboat boat.  20 lb kings are fun to catch. You got the fish down in 80 fow to keep biting.  I had different results this morning out of Holland, but ended up 4-4. Couldn’t finish the solo limit either.

7 am, 6 lb king, flounder pounder mag, rigger down 70 ft in 110 fow.

I targeted 70-100 ft down for another hour and 15 minutes with no bites. Stubborn me finally moved up my riggers to 55-60 ft, and switched out my dipsy for 300 weighted steel. That helped.

8:20 am, 12 lb king that buried a ninja board on the 300 WS. Took forever to get it to the boat.  Thought it was much larger.  Yellow spotted SD with green crinkle fly. 125 fow.

8:50 am, 8 lb king, rigger down 60 ft, 125 fow, green with orange splattered plug.

9:15 am, 5 lb coho(dinner), rigger down 55 ft, 112 fow, dragon slayer SD with green fly.

(no luck with meat rigs).

Probably so Ed. I hate using the fish box on my boat. It is terrible to clean.

Is the water of any kind of stable in that part of the GL it's 100 + fow here the 30 fow to deep and I'm not talking flipped cold water ,it's over 60 deg weather it's 20 or 70 on the hawk . Hard year to follow temps north of huron but random 20 to 25 lb fish fresh and stagged

We have bouys in the Great Lakes if you can find one near you. You can see the layered water temps.

Well done again Ed. Your solo fishing adventures are impressive. Those 20 lb kings can cause mayhem at any time so getting him in the boat solo is a job well done.

thanks for the report.

Congrats to you too Jon on Sea Foam. You solo guys are good fisherman and when you’re putting multiple fish in the boat it’s impressive. I think I lose as many fish as you guys and I have a 2 of us on board 😳
