jdh Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Fishing now. Worked from 85-150 and back into 110. Very few marks. 1-3 right now. 2 1
zgrinder on Fin Warrior Posted July 23 Posted July 23 That is unfortunate. I saw the Tuesday night Steelheaders leaderboard from the Eldean weigh in and 5 of 6 boats landed 5 fish totaling in the range of 55 to 69lbs. I don't know what depths or presentations worked the best. 1
jdh Posted July 23 Author Posted July 23 I know there are fish around. We just didn't set up on them last night. Talked to a few other boats that were in the 5-10 bites range.
WRENCHED 4 IT Posted July 23 Posted July 23 We went 4/9 lost a nice one at the boat. Our biggest one was about a 12lbs with the rest in the 8-10 lbs range all kings. We went out to 135fow but didn’t get anything till in that 110fow on a south east troll after the sun dropped. Stayed out till 11:00 and pulled lines. I don’t think the bite was on last night, or they were in shallower. PS buoy said 50down it was 52 degrees be interesting to hear if anyone did well in that 70-85 fow.
jdh Posted July 23 Author Posted July 23 They may have been shallow, or they may have been spread out. I marked bait everywhere, but not heavy schools of bait like a week ago.
