littleboat Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Fished 8am-12:45pm. Only got a small coho. LOTS of marks 124-135 fow. Couldn't get any other bites. Bite came on rigger with std 5 eyes RV, down 38ft, water temp was 43.1 at ball, 2.4 sog. No hits on boards with 6C thru 230 cu. Lots of marks down deep, ran riggers up thru various bands of depths. The lake was flat. The water surface temp was 45-47. The kings were evidently eating out of town this morning. Sent from my SM-A156U1 using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 6 1
phishtix Posted May 17 Posted May 17 I was out there the day before you and got nothing. I see the DNR report says there were some walleyes caught up near the pier by holland. Maybe I should have tried for walleyes. I was more hoping for some silver fish. I may be back Memorial day weekend if the wind cooperates. 1
littleboat Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 A lot of people cast from the piers for walleye. Figure on casting for 4 hrs on the average to get one. I haven't seen many boats trolling or jigging for them this year as in the past. Usually, they are very noticeable. But it is always backup plan when I can't get out on the big lake.Sent from my SM-A156U1 using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 1
