Priority1 Posted July 25, 2015 Share Posted July 25, 2015 What a day for the bay. I fished with some VG fishermen today Jim M Sr, Jim M Jr, and Gary W. We took a four man limit including 2 Flathead cats. We also farmed about 6-8 future keepers and another Flathead. The fish we were on were not that active and the action was slow but with the good conditions and good camaraderie it made for a super day. We were in 12-15 FOW. 3oz BB on the down rods with glow chartreuse blades did a lot of the damage. Monkey Puke or antifreeze did good also with 1oz BB off the Offshore boards. Speed was varied between 1.4 to 1.8 MPH. Water temps were 73-74 on the surface. We had a couple of fish around 23" and a lot of them that didn't need measuring. If you pay your dues the inner bay will give up her bounty. I love every minute I spend on the Bay. GO FISH! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
