ekbelt
Took a ride through the boat launch and state park in Holland tonight. Nice to check it out again.... even nicer to see that the lake is wide open past the pier heads. Hopefully we don't get any super cold weather between now and March and we should be fishing in 4-5 weeks!

Just Hook'n
Ice is nice...yes I would like to get out on the water soon, but I would like more for there to actually be water under the boat when I try...I'll take the ice.
Line Dancin
Same here Mark we need more ice and snow. Man i hate saying that four letter word. We were at the marina on Lake Erie this weekend and there is a sand bar that has the marina cut off from the lake. last year we were able to motor over that sand bar. this year i doubt you could get a canoe through the creek running through the center of it. the shallow bay to the north of the marina that usually has about two ft of water is dry. I'm talking sand and rock no water dry.
