sjk984
I have an okuma convector rod that i bought to run wire on.. The shop added a twilli tip for me . I used it on 4 outi.gs and noticed a an odd bend in The tip. The tip broke while fighting a fish...Does the warranty include if i had a dealer change the tip or am i out a hundred bucks. 1mainiac
Personally I would send it in without the missing tip odds are they will send you a new rod. they have replaced every rod I have ever had break. It however sounds to me like whoever changed the tip got it hot causing it to break. One reason I don't care for hot glue to put on tips.
mriversinco
I had an eye break on one of mine, Okuma asked me to cut the tip off and send them the rod and they replaced it with a new rod for the cost of shipping. I think it was 5 bucks or something.
N II Deep
I took my broken one right to the dealer, they replaced it no issues.
Just Hook'n
I've had the dealer replace about 5 okuma rods for me with broken tips. They are awesome on service.
killerbe20
i would check with your dealer first. if they can not do anything for you, Okuma has great customer service. I am sure they would help you any way they can
Rascal Trophy Fishing
I too just bought a couple of Okuma rods last fall, didn't get any breaks yet, didn't get much usage before storage too, but it's good to know they stand behind them well.
