"I have counted tens of thousands of salmon during my career, and this is the biggest I have ever seen." The biologist count the post spawn dead fish to estimate fish populations. From the article it was estimated at 85 lbs or so. Imagine the battle this one would have been!!! So this guy would have been 5,6, or even 7 years old. The pacific strand is classified as the gigantic.
