Here are the rules and the payouts

1. rules will remain unchanged unless otherwise notified at the captains meeting.

2. RULE AND RULE CHANGES: these Participation and eligibility: It is the contestants responsibility for knowing and abiding by all local and state regulations which pertain to the tournament.

3. Entry Information: $25.00 per person with a two man minimum per boat.

4. Safety: Safety must be observed at all times each contestant is to follow all Coast Guard laws and regulations at all times.

5. Boats and Equipment: All boats will be inspected prior to the start of the day of fishing. A boat I.D. number will be given to each boat the night before at the captains meeting along with a colored ribbon to identify tournament boats.

6. Marine Radio : All boats must have a working VHF Marine radio The official tournament channel will be channel 72.

7. Captains Meeting : A mandatory captains meeting will be held on May 6, 2011 at the Tawas City Fire Department at 6:00 p.m. it is required that at least one contestant from each boat participate. Location is addressed: 416 Mathews Street, Tawas City.

8. Fish and Fishing: All participants must follow all state rules and regulations 5 fish per person at least 15†in length only your 7 largest fish will be weighed in.

9. Severe Weather: In event of severe weather the tournament will be held the following day May 8, 2011.

10. Waiver and Hold Harmless: All contestants in signing a entry form hold harmless any and all promoters tournament directors and organizations assisting the Tawas City Fire Department Operation. Further more all contestants agree to waiver all responsibility for death injuries damage liability theft fire or loss of any kind to participants.

11. I have read and understood all the above rules and by signing the entry form is in fact signing a waiver.

12. All boats must be inside the State Dock by 3:00 p.m. no exceptions any boat that is not inside the dock by that time under there own power will be disqualified.

13. Times: The tournament will start at 7:00 A.M. with a countdown and end at 3:00 P.M.

14. Alcohol Usage: We discourage any alcohol usage and are not liable for any damages that may be caused by alcohol usage.

15. All persons on boat must be registered and paid for on Friday night at captains meeting regardless of age.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, sorry it's taken this long to get back just been busy with getting my new rig ready for this years event. We've gotten into the three week range and we can't wait. Hope to see some of you guys out there. If you do register it would be great if you could put a little note on your forms as to where you heard about or tournament so we have an Idea of what worked the best. Thanks again.
