killerbe20 Posted September 20, 2010 Share Posted September 20, 2010 fished from 10am-1pm. another solo scavenger hunt. ended 2 for 3.it was actually a lot rougher on the water then i expected. one pass in front of the harbor, real nice color line about 1/4 mile offshore. first fish 25 fow on the edge of the color line next to the green can. headed out to the reef marker on the north side. another fish 35-40 fow between the reef and the harbor. Marked a lot of bait just outside the reef marker in 50-55 fow but no action. Headed back towards the harbor and missed another fish in the same spot as the first on, next to "blinking Louie." All three fish came on a three color with a Dreamweaver Stairway to Heaven plug. Tried lots of different spoons, plugs and a few fly combos on my other two rods with no success.
