Nailer Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Peter I noticed the same thing. When we fished Detour this spring, a high number of the fish we got had lamprey on them. Yoda Posted June 24, 2010 Share Posted June 24, 2010 Lots of those bloody things up here, almost all the salmon you catch will at least have a scare on them. Seems like they have taken a liking to salmon blood. This spring out of Detour there must have been a hatch of them, Most of the salmon had lampreys about 6" long on them, unlike the 1 foot + lamperys in the past.... On a Kinda high note, most of the lakers are clean, no lamperys and no scars, go figure... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
