2UNREEL Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Trolled 85 fow from 6:30-9:30 aboard my fathers boat(Voyageur) and went 4 for 7. One braided diver set back 147 with a pearl spin doctor and pickled sunshine fly took 2 Kings and the 3 misses with the last one breaking the leader. The other fish came 125 back on the blue bubble spindoctor/fly and a nice steelhead came 70 down on the rigger with a blue and chrome chillie willie looking lure. 3 kings 16+lbs and a 10lb steelhead. It was very nice quick evening trip with my mother,wife,and nephew doing all the rod work and running only 7 rods.... Hope the weather flips for this weekend so I can fill the cooler. We went out Friday 8/7 and went 5 for 7. we bent a hook on a flasher fly which caused two misses until I noticed the hook was bent. our best depth was in 108 fow north of South Haven.
